GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The name of the series suggests that GE’s Profile series is aimed at people who want to integrate cutting-edge features in their kitchens. This fridge is loaded with them, from an in-the-door Keurig K-cup coffee maker to a smart water dispenser. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This refrigerator is costly and I expected more.

This refrigerator is a good choice, despite the blip. It has a huge freezer compartment which french door refrigerator has the best ice maker is uncommon for counter-depth French door fridges. It also holds plenty of frozen food, which is a big difference from other models.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to look like it's a seamless component in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher longer and dual compressors to ensure the best food preservation. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested and produces a pyramid-shaped ice that is low in use of water. This fridge is perfect for a single household or kitchenette that needs an attractive design and top of the highest quality food preservation.

This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test for a variety of reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed more than a fraction - this is crucial to avoid freezer burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also did well. It reached the initial temperature within a matter of hours, and maintained that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch has a reputation for premium appliances which is why it's no surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance, with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and Bosch's Home Connect platform. The app allows you to monitor and control your refrigerator remotely from your tablet or smartphone. The refrigerator is expensive, however it has excellent features and functionality for the cost.

It is important to know the limitations of your fridge. You might need to be creative with tall items because the fridge has a limited shelf space. Additionally the shelves aren't sprillproof and can be easily stained or damaged by sharp objects. The trays are easily removed from the refrigerator. However, they must be cleaned frequently to stop the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth french style fridge freezer Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great option for those who need plenty of space in the space of a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge features an ordinary mitsubishi french door fridge with ice maker-door design with gallon-sized door bins on each door and two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set sleeker drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to give tall items more space. You'll also find a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great aspects of this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, which makes it simple to move the ice to the refrigerator to use as needed. The freezer also features innovative design features such as sliding drawers that help you sort your things. It also has a large bin that can accommodate plenty of frozen food items and an additional storage bin for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. It allows you to control the fridge's temperature and lighting via your smartphone. It's a nice method of monitoring and managing your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily enhance the efficiency of the fridge. The refrigerator took longer to defrost food and chill it than some others we tried. This could be due to the bigger capacity.

The other issue we have with the door of this refrigerator. They have handles that are sunken at the front, which allows smaller people to pull them open from the bottom, however they're still difficult for taller people to pull shut without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had a front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a little less than the top counter depth refrigerators that have an icemaker, which makes it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a great choice when you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It has a simple design that's not as striking visually as other models but it does have enough features to make it a good pick. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser, as well as an excellent ice maker that operates quickly.

Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you redirect the majority of the refrigerator's cooling power to this area, so that you can store foods that require special attention. This feature can be adjusted using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge, though I've found that adjusting the general settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.

During my tests, the refrigerator's temperatures were fairly consistent across all areas of the fridge. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary very far from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a good performance, but it does not quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with an intelligent thermometer to get more precise readings of your fridge's internal temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
