It's also compatible with the brand's infant car seat which makes it an ideal option for families that start at the time of birth.

Finally, the Coya TRVL ($320) is a different one-handed fold that is one-step with car seat compatibility and a wide canopy. It's a bit pricier than the other models in this category however, it comes with additional features such as a large parent pocket and cupholder, an adjustable handlebar to accommodate parents of all heights and Prams Pushchairs a comfortable carry strap. Its simplicity is sacrificed for some durability when compared to the other models in this category, however.

2. Folding is simple

A stroller for travel should be simple to close and open when you're on the move. If you're carrying a bag of groceries, or children in your arms you shouldn't have to wrestle with a complicated stroller to close it. The Contours Itsy is fully assembled and all you need to do is put in the bumper bar. It comes with a parent cup holder and a back pocket but there isn't a large basket which might limit your ability to pack essentials for long trips.

If you are a frequent traveler we recommend you look into a more robust stroller with more features and the capacity to hold more cargo. The UPPAbaby Mini, as an instance, has many of its G-Luxe or G-Link siblings with features, but it is smaller and folds more quickly. It's also a bit stronger than an umbrella stroller and it has a padded carrying strap to take some of the weight off your shoulders.

4. Confortable

The comfort factor is crucial when using strollers over long durations of time. Seats with plenty of padding as well as a reclining system that can be adjusted at various angles are ideal. Note if the canopy extends to provide sun protection and if the mesh windows encourage airflow. If you have to carry items with you take a look at a model that has an organizer for parents and a cup holder as well as a large storage basket under the seat.
