Size

Midi beds with storage are generally lower than high-sleepers and come with a ladder or staircase that is shorter which makes them suitable for smaller rooms. They also use a standard UK single mattress and add a range of useful pieces beneath. A lot of our midi cabin beds are offered in multiple colour finishes so you can choose the one that will suit your child's room best. Some take it even higher and offer a range of bespoke storage units. This includes a desk that moves between two on wheels, four storage drawers and two cabinets with doors included. The Eli F takes it to the next level with doors that match the color of the chosen head and foot board.

The Luna low-line loft bed, also known as a the midi-storage bed is small and comes with everything you need. A ladder that can be turned and a desk with wheels that can slide in and out and three drawer cabinets and a chest are all included. You can also get it in reverse configuration, for example the ladder on the left. Ask in the store or mention this at the time of checkout.

Style

It's important to note that many midi loft beds with desk require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with an slatted wooden base. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, so we recommend taking a look at our amazing mattress deals to find a price that fits your budget!

Mattress

Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for extra peace of mind. Some models include a fabulous pull out trundle drawer for sleepovers or additional storage space beneath the bed. They can be open or have doors (please check the product's specifications for full information).

Many midi cabins include a desk that can be moved from one level to another or chests. This gives children a bespoke space to store all their belongings and means you don't have to take precious floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.

A few models have taken it an extra step with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or is part of the headboard/footboard. This is great for storing books and toys.
