Toto was formed in the year 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro, David Paich (who at the time were also famous studio players working with Boz Scaggs) and singer/bassist Bobby Kimball. In 1999, the band releases Mindfields and begin an extensive tour around the world. After a few weeks in Europe, the band heads to Japan for sold-out shows. After a brief break, Toto resumes their recording and releases their first live album entitled Absolutely Live in 1993.
