We weren't so impressed with the quality of its ride on rough terrain. We felt that the suspension and wheels did not do a good job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

The seat can be moved forward and backward to adjust the recline which is essentially flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. This is an excellent option for those looking for a stroller that is light and easy to carry. It has all the features parents would want in a stroller, including all-terrain wheels and front suspension to ensure a smooth ride. It's also incredibly light, at less than 12 pounds. It can be folded with one hand and stands up on its own. It also comes with a child tray and parent tray and two cup holders.

The quality, however, is a little at the lower end, and it did not fare well in our tests of maneuverability. It has a flexible frame, which makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting weights. This might be fine for those who only use the stroller on smooth sidewalks, but for most people, it will likely not be comfortable.

Cloud Plus Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy and a peek-aboo window for added sun protection. Its multi-position seat accommodates children as heavy as 50 pounds and uses five points of safety restraint. This is a great feature for older toddlers who have outgrown infant car seats.

However the handle is lower than many of the other strollers we looked at and some parents may be uncomfortable for long durations. The handle locks in position when it's opened. This is an excellent feature to use the stroller on uneven or rough terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents who are on the go. This ultra-compact stroller is easy to fold up and down and easily fits in overhead compartments on planes, as well as in trunks at the amusement park (no need to worry about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used right from birth with the infant car seat adapter and offers a good amount of sun protection thanks to its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only downside is that some parents find the look to be uninspiring and cheap single buggy.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other single jogging stroller strollers that are lightweight however, it was created specifically for luxurious urban living and travel. It's one of the most easy strollers to fold, and comes with a convenient carry case. It has plenty of storage space, including a cupholder. The seat reclines nearly flat for both children and adult. This is the only stroller on our list that has an adapter for car seats that can allow it to be used with babies. The handlebar is not adjustable and could pose an issue for some parents who are short.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it comes with a number of amazing features that help children travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and it comes with extra padding to make those plane napping sessions more comfortable. The canopy that can be extended has plenty of sun coverage and the tray on the front provides plenty of storage. It also features an adjustable footrest that can double as a handle when folded. This footrest, however appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy's Minu V2 is a premium stroller that doesn't skimp on quality or design. Its compact design allows it to easily navigate through narrow sidewalks and tight spaces and its robust construction lets it handle rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspensions provide an incredibly comfortable ride for both of you, and its durable materials mean that it can withstand every day wear and tear without losing its shape. It can also be enlarged to accommodate other accessories like an infant car seat.

Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was easy to fold and move around. Its squat fold, which can be divided into three sections, was one of the easiest folds we tested. This allows it to easily fit into overhead compartments in airplanes and on public transport. It has a single-action color-coded brake that is simple to use.

The seat has an adjustable recline in multiple positions and a single wheel stroller-handed adjustable leg rest, making it easy to find the perfect position for your child. The UPF 50+ canopy can be lowered quite far to shield Cora's face from the sun. The medium-sized mesh peekaboo window is magnetically attached to the canopy, and it closes without the use of noisy Velcro.

The Minu weighs just under 15 pounds and comes with an integrated handle that makes it easy for transport. It also has a shoulder strap. It can also be stored in the trunk of your vehicle, and it comes with a storage container and access to the Uppababy TravelSafe program which adds two years onto the manufacturer's warranty. It also covers repairs for damaged items in the course of air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is a well-known brand that makes several strollers. This light model is a great choice for parents who are looking for a sturdy stroller that can transport children around, has plenty of storage, is simple to use and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. It's not ideal when you're looking for an automobile seat-compatible model or a double stroller. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your children must be able to sit up on their backs before they can use it.

This stroller is loaded with features and comes at a price that is very reasonable. It scored higher in our maneuverability test than other models with similar specs. It's an excellent choice for smooth paved surfaces. It also has a lovely canopy and plenty of storage, including a spacious parent tray. The front wheel suspension is a little stiff, and the handlebar is smaller in diameter than the norm, but it provides an enjoyable ride for adults.

If you have twins or two kids of different in age, you might find a side by side stroller is the best lightweight single stroller way to transport them. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It is loaded with features and a small footprint, so it can fit in places that other side-by-side strollers aren't.

It has a large canopy that has a peek-aboo view and plenty of storage. It's a bit heavier than other side-by-sides, but it has a good weight capacity and can accommodate most children weighing up to 50lbs. You can also add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller for infants.

The Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller is an extravagant version of the stroller. It comes with the same great features as the model above and comes with a bassinet to allow you to bring your child home from the hospital in style.
