The City Mini is an ordinary full-size stroller. It's only notable because it is light and compact. It also ranks well in all our categories. However it doesn't score quite as well as its competitors because of a poorly-placed peek-aboo and storage that's somewhat blocked.

This is a great stroller for families that require something to get them through their daily and occasional adventures. It has a very wide footrest and is cushioned, so children will be comfortable. The seat reclines to a pretty flat position, but we found it difficult to get it into place and required two hands. The adjustable calf support is an excellent feature that will allow your child's feet to lift up when they get tired.

As with many of the strollers we have reviewed, the City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and which parents rave about. The sun shade is constructed elegantly and can be pulled completely down. This is fantastic because it shields your child from sun, without the need to constantly put the shade back in place.

The City Mini can be easily converted into a double-stroller by attaching an add on kit. You can choose any Baby Jogger car-seat and create a travel system right from the beginning. The only drawback is that the addition of the second seat can alter the look and feel of the stroller and some parents may be a bit hesitant to handle once they get used to it.

The City Mini GT Double Stroller is another alternative to the City Mini. It is a bit more expensive than the single City Mini but it does come with some additional features, such as "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres, making it suitable for off-road adventures. It also has an adjustable handlebar and a hand-operated parking brake that makes it more comfortable to use than the standard City Mini.
