The handles on your doors wear out over time and need to be replaced. It is important to be able to match the dimensions of the handles you have previously replaced when replacing them.

Inline Lever/Lever

The uPVC/Composite handles are made of tough materials and are ideal for multi-point lock doors that need a heavy-duty design. The handles are inline, and use the same screws and spindle to secure them. They can be easily mounted on any uPVC/Composite doors.

The spring lever design allows the handle to be positioned and angled to ensure a comfortable experience and is suitable for all users. The handle has been endurance tested to 200,000 cycles, which helps to ensure the quality of the finish as well as the performance of the handle over time. The sprung lever is adjustable to fit a broad range of locks. This is particularly useful in doors with smaller door frames where the cylinder is further back. A shortened lever is also a good choice for doors where the latch can be opened by a thumb turn on the inside.

Lever Pad

A Lever Pad door handle made of upvc functions differently than lever handles on doors. These handles can operate from a single spindle (inline) or independently from both sides using two offset spindles or inline (pad). They are usually employed on UPVC double glazing window handle glazed doors and come in a variety of styles and styles.

The handles have been tested to at least 200,000 cycles and are available in several finishes including White and Silver, as well as Chrome & Gold. Euro Cylinder

Cylinder locks are usually found on uPVC doors, but they can also be used on other types of doors. They work by using a key that unlock a cylinder that is then revealed with pins that can be aligned with those inside the lock body, allowing them to turn an revolving cam, opening the door. Euro cylinders can be equipped with up to six pins, with external and internal doors typically needing different levels of security.

The choice of the correct cylinder is essential; it depends on the way your door and handle are utilized. Doors that are external, for instance, should be fitted with cylinders with greater security and internal doors can be secured using a standard cylinder. Additionally, certain cylinders come with additional features that increase security, for instance anti-drill or anti-bump properties.

A euro door handles cylinder needs to be properly measured to ensure it is the correct size for your door. The cylinder should be measured from the hole for fixing screws in the middle to the end of the cylinder and the thumb turn if you have one. It is recommended to do this while the lock is in place however in the event that this is not possible, you may remove it to measure. A cylinder that is protruding beyond the handle and escutcheon could be vulnerable to attacks such as lock snapping, so it is crucial that it's not too long.

Most modern cylinders are made with bump and anti-drill features that are built into their design. They are designed to minimize the chance of attack by forcing cylinders to rotate in a new direction. This will help to stop the attack and protect your doors.

There are cylinders constructed to withstand snapping. This is an increasingly common type of attack on cylinders where the break line inside the lock is targeted by a tool that is specially designed to break off the front of the cylinder to allow the door to open. This is faster and easier to achieve than opening the door with a multipoint lock and leaves little evidence of a break-in, which can impede an insurance claim.

Spring Cassette

This spring cassette is found in the base plate of the door handle. It provides a sprung solution to bring your multipoint lock handles back to their resting position after using. These handles used to have no spring and would drop when the locking mechanism was disconnected. This component is the most effective way to solve this issue. It also prevents your door from becoming stuck in the open or closed position, as they aren't easy to close manually.

These spring cassettes are specially designed for use with sprung multipoint locks but they won't work with non-sprung multipoint handles. You will need to have a hole specifically cut in the backplate to allow them to fit (please look at the image for a technical diagram). They are a replacement for broken or missing cassettes in the backplates of door handles of numerous kinds of uPVC doors. They are sold as one unit. They have a square-cut out that is able to accommodate an 8mm shaft.
