Line-up

It was the first album in the band's history not to feature one single track with the word "A" in the title, and it also contained one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".

By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth record, Old Is New was an uncommercial success and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis that restricted his singing capabilities. In addition, Hungate returned to Nashville, while drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.

Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the founding members of Asia were in England early in 2006 to discuss the possibility that the group could be revived. This lineup, minus Howe (who was busy with Yes at the time) was later referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
