Best Twin Stroller For Newborns
If you're expecting twins or two children who are similar in age, a double stroller is essential. The best ones provide numerous ways for your children to ride, including side-by-side seating and the ability to attach a rider's board.
Lauren Ro, a writer and strategist, has a favorite is the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono, which adapts seamlessly as your family grows. It can fit two infant car seats as well a toddler car seat which makes it an ideal option for twins starting at birth.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the top double stroller for families looking for a stylish and attractive side-by-side
cheap double stroller stroller. It's a little bigger than other Bugaboo strollers, but it feels solid and built to last. It comes with a handlebar that can be adjusted to extend and retract easily. It has a long reach, so my husband who is 6'1", can easily push it when it is full of weight.
Seats are comfortable and can be placed in a way that one child is behind another or so that the children face each one. The seats can recline independently from each other. The canopies cover both fabric seats should you wish to. But they don't have much ventilation so they can feel like a small oven on hot days. They also don't have a peek-a-boo window that allows children to peek in.
One of the most unique aspects of this stroller is its capacity to adapt to your family's needs from a single seat (Mono mode) all the way up to a double side-by-side stroller. This is the only double stroller convertible to do this. It can be used with an additional car seat or bassinet for infants.
It is easy to navigate on smooth surfaces and is able to handle steps and slopes well. The only downside is that it could be difficult to navigate through the midst of crowded restaurants and shops. It is difficult to fold the seat back, particularly if it is connected. It is still fairly small, however, and does fit through most doors easily.
There is a storage bin that fits on the frame, next to the front seat in mono mode. It is great for grocery shopping and other things. The main storage basket underneath the seats is massive and can support up to 100 pounds which is more than any other stroller on this list!
Uppababy Vista V2
This stroller is one of the best twin strollers for newborns. It is compatible with a variety of infant car seats and bassinets (adapters sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller straight out of the box. It can even accommodate two bassinets or infant car seats simultaneously if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.
The V2 is a redesigned version of the original Vista. The toddler seat is now elevated by a half inch, the footrest has been made larger, and the canopy is an extra fabric extension that zips out. The harness has been updated, as it does not require re-threading. This makes it much easier to adjust.
The stroller comes with fairly large wheels (8 inches in the front and 11.5'' in the back) with a sturdy suspension, which means it can easily handle a variety of terrain. The rubber wheels on the front are ideal for navigating rocks and gravel and the tread on the rear wheels is more suitable for sidewalks and grassy hills.
A child's bike can be attached to the front of the stroller. This is a great choice for parents who do not want to use an infant car seat. If you have a child old enough to stand, the Vista stroller can fit a third child with its piggyback board accessory.
The Vista is simple to use and to install. It does take some time to take off all the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there is an YouTube video if you need help understanding them.

Cortina Together
Created for the growing family, Cortina Together offers parents flexible seating options that let them adjust to the individual needs of each child and preferences. The double
stroller double's standard stroller seats have reclining backrests and independent canopy. The seats are also designed to accept Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the number one baby car seat in both the front and rear seat. (Car seat sold separately).
A large, zipper-access basket at the rear provides ample storage space for your gear. The handle is cushioned to allow for dad or mom. The suspension and wheels of the tandem double stroller ensure a smooth ride on all terrains. The 1-touch linked rear breaks with toe-tap activated make stopping easy.
In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high marks for ease of usage. This metric is based on the ease with which it is for you to fold and set up the stroller. It also reflects how easy it is to open and close the snack trays as well as engage and deengage brakes, raise the folded stroller and carry it as if it were a trunk.
We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded which puts it close to the beast end of our metric. It also has limited visibility when a car seat is placed in the rear. The front tray release isn't always easy to use, particularly after prolonged usage. Despite these issues we still think that this is a great stroller to have for your family.
Jeep Double Stroller
The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is a lightweight, affordable stroller ideal for families with two kids. The front lock wheels swivel and can be rotated to allow ease of maneuvering on flat surfaces and lock to give stability on bumpy surfaces. It also features an umbrella fold that folds down in a matter of seconds and can be set up for easy transportation. Its aluminum frame that is lightweight, carrying strap and handle made of foam makes it one of the easiest double strollers we have seen in our tests.
This stroller has reclined seats that can be independently adjusted for maximum comfort. Its canopy is large and offers UPF 50 protection and also comes with an open view for easy monitoring. We wish the canopy was vented to let in more airflow though. We were not happy the fact that the cup holder is quite high up on the frame. You'll need to bend down to reach it.
In our tipping-test, the Jeep tipped over at a 39 degree angle, which is higher than average for the
double buggy newborn pram. It's heavier than the average, but offers more storage for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.
This stroller is multi-functional and features three modes. It can be used as a walker (for stuff) as well as a the jogger mode (with two safety belts with five points for kids), or car seat mode. It can be used with one car seat for infants however, pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is six months old before running with them, and one year old before letting them run on rough terrain. It's black and comes with a lifetime warranty. Jenni Gritters has been a parenting and outdoor journalist for more than 10 years.
