If you're looking to save money but want the convenience of a double stroller think about the phil&teds go(tm). This compact travel stroller can be folded down to a tiny size and is easy to fit in the back of your car or on an airplane.
1. Pockitt GB Pockit
The GB Pockit is a compact stroller that folds down to the size and shape of a handbag. It is also able to fit in a luggage compartment or overhead storage space on an aircraft. The stroller currently holds the Guinness World Record as the smallest folding stroller and can be used by children ranging from 6 months to 55 pounds however it's not made for infants (it does not recline).
It's extremely light and compact at just 11.8 in x 7.1 in and 20.3 in when folded, so it's easy to carry around and can easily be placed in your purse or car boot. The front wheels can be locked straight or swivel to tackle rough terrain such as playground mulch or gravel paths. The Pockit is ideal for parents who travel often, but it is not ideal for everyday use since it does not have an upper and a cup holder as well as stroller storage. The Gb Pockit+ is an expensive stroller that offers a more spacious seat with an additional cushion made of neoprene and a back pocket that is zippered.
I loved using this stroller when we traveled, as it's
small single stroller enough for stowing in the luggage compartment of trains or under the seat in front of you on an airplane. It can fit into an airline's overhead bin regardless of the cabin's size. It's also easy to maneuver in crowded shopping centers and can slip easily into tight turnstiles on subways or busses. The Pockit is a niche item but it's an excellent choice for parents or frequent travelers with small storage space. It is available in Monument Black, and weighs just 9.2 lbs.
2. gb Pockit+
The iconic, stripped-back pushchair from Goodbaby which was recently merged into Cybex, has been upgraded with swivel wheels on the front and is now compatible with travel systems. At just L20 x W32 x H38 cm this stroller can fold into a small, compact package that can be stored anywhere. It's also compatible with airline hand luggage and perfect for busy parents or frequent traveller.
The gb Pockit+ comes with a step-less recline feature that allows the seat to be lowered to a comfortable resting position to provide a more comfortable and customized experience, while still keeping baby standing up. Front wheel suspension increases usability and comfort for urban commuters on uneven pavements and the huge sun canopy provides more UV protection.
Similar to the previous model, it's a joy to use indoors and easily navigate narrow supermarket aisles, train carriageways or crowded city streets. It's a struggle to navigate steep hills or rough terrain. The handlebar is a little flimsy and the brake is slap right in the middle of the bar, so it is difficult to reach. The footrest is also a bit short and offers only two options - upwards or downwards.
The 2018 gb Pockit+ features a number of upgraded features like adapters for GB or Cybex infant car seats, as well as a larger sun canopy. It's still one of the most lightweight strollers for folding that weighs just 5.7 kg, making it easy to transport, lift and maneuver. The stroller is also suitable to be a 3-in-1 unit: just click on the adapters provided to attach your Cot To Go or GB/Cybex capsule, and have your baby in complete freedom and ease. Furthermore the Pockit+ has been cleverly created to stand on its own when folded, and is perfect for storage in your favorite cafe at the airport, or at home.
3. Le Clerc Influencer XL
This stroller is perfect for those who are looking for a stroller which includes XL features. It offers a relaxing and comfortable ride for your child. The large wheels make it easy to maneuver through any terrain. It has a backrest which can be adjusted to three different positions. This allows you to adjust the position of your child's back so they can rest comfortably.
The stroller is also easy to navigate. It is light and is able to be carried over the kerbs. This makes it a perfect alternative for city life. It is also very easy and easy to fold or unfold with just a
single pushchairs click! This makes it super compact and light and allows you to easily lift it into your luggage while travelling.
The Leclerc Influencer XL stroller is available in black and comes with a free gift worth PS25 (see the end of the article for more details). It is suitable for children from 6 months to 5 or even as young as the carrycot. It can also be used with a car seat by using the adapters for car seats included.
The brand new Influencer stroller from Leclerc is designed for parents who need a stylish, practical and sturdy stroller. Its sleek design, modern folding mechanism and high-quality materials show that it was created with love. Its lightweight and 8.2 kg size makes it a perfect option for those who live in urban areas and require a compact, light stroller that will fit in their everyday life.
The stroller can be folded in only 1.5 seconds because of its unique folding system. It comes with larger wheels, a higher frame and still fits into the aircraft compartment. The unique seating system keeps your child comfy on long flights and you can even choose to add a bassinet in order to transform it into a pram for your child at the age of birth.
4. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
This versatile wagon is advertised by Evenflo because of its ability to switch from push to pull with the flip of a handle. The all-terrain wheels allow it to travel across a variety of terrains. It can also be used to carry 1 or 2 children as young as of 5 years in a stroller or a wagon mode. It also comes with a kid tray, a handle that can be adjusted double canopy for extra sun protection, and a large storage basket to hold on-the-go essentials.
It is a little heavier than the other wagons in our tests, but it feels solid and smooth to push. Its handle is easy to adjust and it comes with a double-action brake that helps prevent the wagon from accidentally rolling away. It doesn't have the suspension that the GB Pockit+ and the Veer Cruiser has, which makes it less comfortable to ride in for children.
The seats aren't air-conditioned, and they don't recline. There is a footwell, but it is not very large or deep, so children might find it difficult to get into and out of the seat. It is fairly easy to clean, but there are some spots where crumbs tend to get accumulated.
It's priced similar to the Veer Expedition, but it is superior in a number of categories such as the ability to steer and maneuverability. It also has a bassinet insert that accommodates infant car seats. It's therefore an ideal choice for twins as compared to the single-seat Xplore. However, it does not allow two car seats for infants at the same time, which could limit its use for a short time. It does come with a limited warranty.
5. Britax B-Lively
The Britax B-Lively is a lightweight stroller with a spacious storage basket and a comfortable ride. It is designed to accommodate children up to 55 lbs and features a deep recline for napping. It is simple to fold and unfold and has an easy lock that keeps it locked. The handlebar can be adjusted and can accommodate shorter or taller people this is a wonderful feature for families with several children with different heights. It does not come with an holder for cups or a snack tray, but there's an enclosed pouch that zips up in the back for keys and other things.
This is among the quietest strollers we tested, which is great for children who are sleeping or parents who don't want to be tangled with a stroller racket. It is easy to move and comes with a an expansive, ventilated umbrella with an open window so you can watch your children. It is available in a variety of colors and can be transformed into a travel system using the Click and Go feature with any Britax infant seat.
The Britax B Lively is surprisingly agile, even in difficult terrain such as grass and gravel. However, it doesn't excel on hills with slopes and is prone to slipping on uneven surfaces. It comes with adapters for use with Britax car seats but the user manual is unclear about which seats are compatible with it and the website of the manufacturer does not provide any information. This is a great option for families who already own an existing Britax car seat but it is not ideal for those looking to buy a lightweight stroller that can be used with other brands car seats.
