The upgrader for items adds a new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to view and buy upgrades.
It boosts
With an upgrader for items you will be able to enjoy a number of bonuses. These can include stats as well as additional bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons, and trinkets. They can be used to boost a character's abilities or to add a new element of variety to their appearance.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency at an upgrader for their item. This system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was extended with the release of Warlords of Draenor. It's a great way to boost the level of your equipment, letting you to avoid the tedious grind and avoid a lot of wipes in Mythic+ Dungeons.
When an item is upgraded its base type changes. Upgrades to a normal item produce an Exceptional version, while upgrades to an Exceptional model create an Elite. The item will keep all of its prior upgrade statistics, but will also gain an additional bonus from its new base type. This bonus is randomly selected. It could be a weapon with more damage range, an improved speed of reloading, or enhanced max defense roll.
The number of upgrades you do will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade will increase the extras by a maximum of 3 points. Each upgrade will also boost the stats in the main menu by +1.
Some upgrades also give you an additional random boost in addition to stat boosts. These boosts can be quite important and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Certain of these boosts may only be used in certain designs (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs) Some are beneficial to collectors.
Certain items come with inherent boo that is less beneficial when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap that gives you additional slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.
Costs
There are a few costs associated with item upgrades. The first cost is the upgrade itself. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is contingent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it receives. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a higher level (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The other is the cost of the materials required to upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable through completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These items can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
The process of upgrading an item is complicated and requires time. It could take as long as 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of an upgrade. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important stats. In certain cases the upgrade can grant additional perks that can be selected from a variety of advantages.
Rarely, the advantages obtained will cost more than one perk slot In these instances the upgrade will replace the perks with the highest cost. The upgrader may also make other modifications to the item, like changing its weapon damage type or removing a operative or unwieldy feature. The cost of these changes is based on the

Success Rate
Upgrades to items are based on a chance, and like every random system, there's the possibility that the upgrade won't succeed. There are several ways to increase your chances of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or adding additional materials to your upgrade.
The
upgrade item Pity can be purchased through the NPC for crafting in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus that certain items offer but is more stable. It can be added to any weapon or armor and can be used up to three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. The materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is displayed directly above the + button.
A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it can be used to boost the odds of an upgrade being successful. This item can be useful if your weapon or piece is nearing or has reached the highest level of its level. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of it breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful, the system will be returned to its original state. This is usually a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is a good idea to save an upgrade when you are close to the highest level of an item, and then use it as an option last resort.
There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to boost the chances of a successful upgrade. You can increase your chances of success by upgrading equipment repeatedly using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The rate of success will be increased if you can increase your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate

It is important to remember that not all items can be upgraded. The enchantment and upgrade rate is dependent on the item's rank. The higher the rank, the more zen and the items you'll need to upgrade it.
This system can be very expensive, especially for high-level gear. It can cost upwards of 100,000 Z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. As you advance in rank, your success rate decreases. However, you can utilize cash shop items to increase the chances of completing an upgrade successfully.

The interface for the item upgrader may be somewhat confusing, but it is not difficult to navigate. The main menu appears on the left, and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI indicate the different stages in the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to seek assistance if you're not sure what you're doing. The upgrade could take five minutes.
