Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.

The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or ring. The item is replaced with another item upgrader mod of the same type and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To create them, you require an upgrade level token for rerolling. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item upgrades to an entirely new piece of equipment.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can place an item to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. In the same way, once an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but more because it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item upgrades, the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
