But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. The refrigerator is expensive and I was expecting better.

This fridge is a great option, despite the slight blip. It has a huge freezer compartment, which is unusual for counter-depth French-door refrigerators. It also holds plenty of frozen food items compared to other models.

Inside the fridge, you'll find 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment offers 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is about par for the size of a French door refrigerator that costs this much. It also has a decent sized ice maker in the left-hand door, although it isn't the largest I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments for the perfect storage solution. The GE PYE22PYNFS's interior design is stylish, too. The LED lighting adds a nice touch. The storage bins in the door have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them for Beverage, Meat, or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, however I found their plastic textured coatings to be a bit rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the full suite of features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price with Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and has numerous options for customization. It will also send notifications when the door is unlocked, when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill which is an option that is available in a handful of other GE fridges that allow you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to dispense simultaneously. It does have an indicator on the display of the fridge to display how much water you have left, but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Created to appear like a seamless part of your kitchen Bosch's French door refrigerator is a standout. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors for preserving food. The ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces an ice pyramid with only a little water. This fridge is the perfect choice for single household or kitchenettes who want an integrated look and top of the line food preservation.

This fridge was rated the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just a few degrees Fahrenheit, never fluctuating by more than a fraction a degree--this is key in preventing freezing burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, reaching the desired initial set temperature within an hour and keeping the temperature constant over the course of our tests.

Bosch is a household name known for its high-end appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that Bosch counter depth refrigerator is one of them. Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's platform Home Connect. The app lets you monitor and control your fridge from your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is expensive, however it has top-quality features and functions for the price.

It is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the fridge. It has a small shelf space, which means you'll need to be creative when storing tall objects. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge has the standard French Door Fridge freezer 60cm door design, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set of crisper drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give tall items more headroom. There's also a full-width storage drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the nice aspects of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is inside the freezer, which makes it easy to move ice into the fridge to be used when it is needed. The freezer also has thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that help you organize your items. It has a large bin for storing frozen food and a separate bin for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. It lets you control the temperature of your fridge, lighting, and more via your smartphone. It's a great method of monitoring and managing your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat but it doesn't enhance the performance of the fridge. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill food in this fridge as compared to other fridges we tested. This could be due to its greater capacity.

The doors pose a problem with this refrigerator. They have handles that are sunken on the front, which allow smaller people to open them from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to pull shut without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had a front-mounted handle.

It has a capacity that is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also less expensive than the top counter depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, making it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an french door fridge with water and ice dispenser door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a minimalist design that's not as striking in appearance as other models but it does have enough features to make it a good choice. Its most notable feature is the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large water and ice maker dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated above the two crisper bins, is another great feature. This drawer allows you to use a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power to this area so that you can store foods that require extra attention. This feature can be adjusted by using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. It is also possible to use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the whole fridge, however, I've found that changing the general settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.

During my tests, the temperature of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across all areas of the fridge. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a good performance, but doesn't quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It is capable of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing even when compared with shiny stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tried.
