The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport Utility is the perfect stroller for parents who want to step off the beaten path and exercise. This jogging stroller features pneumatic knobby tires that are ideal for running trails and hand brakes that let you control the downhills. It also has a top-of-the-line suspension system and a two-step folding design, and an enormous cargo basket. If you buy the correct adapters you can use it with an infant car seat.

The biggest drawback of this stroller for jogging is its weight and size folded. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inches, which is the average for this class. The size of its footprint isn't ideal for tight turns or small trunk spaces, although it has a small handle near the back of the basket that you can pull to collapse it into an upright, compact position.

This stroller is easy to maneuver despite its size. The front wheel is fitted with a locking mechanism, that allows you to change from normal to locked running mode. The handlebar can be adjusted to different parent heights. It comes with a spacious seat that can be reclined to almost flat and a large vinyl peekaboo window.

The Sport Utility stroller, like the other BOBs reviewed in this review, comes with adapters for car seats. This allows you to use it with different infant car seats. It took us 5:24 minutes in our tests to assemble the stroller, from unpacking it to getting it ready to go. It was easy enough to complete, however you'll need an Philips head screwdriver for the job. The included manual is clear and well-organized, but it's still recommended to keep one on hand in the case.

This jogger has been built with safety, fashion and user-friendliness as its main priorities. It has a tray for parents that has two cup holders and covered storage, as well as an infant tray that can be swung away and has two cup holders. The only drawback to this jogger is the lack of suspension. This means that the ride could be bumpier than other strollers that are all-terrain. This could be difficult for children with small hands, especially when their nap is about to start. It is also compatible with travel systems, so you can use it with a Cybex Maxi-Cosi and Be-Safe baby car seat.

Another problem with this pushchair is its lack of a storage basket under the seat. It has a small shopping pouch on the back of the seat, but it wouldn't be big enough for the size of a large bag for changing. It is easy to open and close. Only two hand-holds are required to release the plastic catch on either side of the lower frame. There is a third lock catch on the red handlebar which can be opened with just one hand, making it incredibly easy to use.
